Don't snack between meals (unless the snacks are really, really good). In most cases, snacks are simply “empty calories.” You're a food enthusiast, damn it, not a glutton. If the food isn't worth it, don't eat it. On the contrary, my deep obsession with all forms of cooking has led me to develop some gastronomic habits that allow me to stay slim.
Most weight-loss diets wrongly promote food deprivation and extreme diets as the only way to eliminate extra layers of fat, and that's what prevents most food lovers from even trying to make an attempt in that direction.
